Our Liturgical Choir is preparing for our next Whole School Mass on Thursday, August 15. A reminder that the choir is open to all year levels, and there is a constant and open invitation for students to join and share the joy and beauty of the choir.
Students should keep an eye on the daily messages for rehearsal times.
The only skill required is the desire to participate, as under the guidance of Mrs Majella Muller and Mr Mitch Leviston, learning to sing is part of the opportunity.
Mrs Muller, who joined the College Administration team last term, has more than 30 years' experience in singing and choral direction, and is a wonderful addition to the choir.

St Patrick's College will host a free Cyber Safey information session for parents and caregivers next month featuring one of Australia's leaders in cyber safety and young people, Susan McLean.
The session will be held on Wednesday 24 July at 7pm in the Performing Arts Centre and cover a range of cyber safety topics including:
Ms McLean was the first Victoria Police officer appointed to a dedicated cyber safety and young people position and is considered Australia's foremost expert in this space.
Since her first report on cyberbullying in 1994, she has conducted extensive research and training in Australia and overseas, and is a sought-after presenter and advisor to schools, GPs, State and Federal Governments and elite sporting bodies including the AFL.
A published author, her book 'Sexts, Texts and Selfies' is described as a definitive guide for parents, teachers and carers to help children stay safe online.
Dobson's onsite uniform shop is open during the following hours:
Please note that Click and Collect orders can only be collected from the shop during opening hours.
A reminder that the College has implemented an adjusted timetable in response to changes in public transport schedules and as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our operations.
The changes do not affect the amount of face-to-face time in classes, or the length of recess or lunchtime. The adjustments specifically reduce the length of student movement time between classes from seven minutes to five minutes.
Families are also reminded that the supervised hours within the College will be between 8:35am and 3:45pm.
By making these changes, particularly at the start of the College day, we aim to reduce any disruption to learning caused by late-arriving public buses and improve the overall efficiency of the St Patrick’s College school day.
The City of Ballarat has advised it will be undertaking regular patrols of the College precinct at school drop off and pick up times this term to ensure parking compliance.
Any breaches observed will be enforced to help ensure the safety of students, staff and the broader school community.
We encourage all road users to adhere to the law to maintain the ongoing safety of everyone involved.
