In Maths, the Preps have been learning how to collect, sort and organise data. Ask your Prep, “What is data?” and they will confidently tell you, “Data is information!” They also know that to make data easier to read, we need to “line it up”.
The students had great fun creating their own survey questions, such as “Do you have a pet dog?”, “Do you like sushi?” and “Do you have a brother?” With their clipboards, they felt very important as they interviewed their peers and collected their data.
Afterwards, the Preps shared their findings with the class, using statements such as, “My data tells me more people in Prep like sushi than don’t.” It has been wonderful to see the students developing their data collection skills and learning how to use information to make comparisons and draw conclusions.

A huge congratulations to Jude Briskie (Year 5), who was selected as a Young Archie Shepparton finalist for his incredible artwork!
Being recognised as a finalist is a wonderful achievement and a celebration of Jude's creativity, artistic talent and the care he has put into his work.
We are incredibly proud of you, Jude. Congratulations on this fantastic achievement!

Come for breaky… second breakfast… or even third breakfast — all are welcome!
Our new Foundation students enjoyed trying out Breakfast Club for the first time and it’s safe to say they absolutely loved it! There were smiles, full tummies and a wonderful sense of community to start the day.
Breakfast Club is a beautiful way to gather, connect and ensure everyone begins the morning feeling nourished and ready to learn.
We look forward to welcoming more students as we continue to grow this special initiative.
