Looking ahead- what is in store for Term 3

Dear Parents and Students

We hope everyone is having a restful and wonderful winter break.  With the cold season upon us and likely more time indoors, we hope you will find some inspiration to do some music practice! I have shared some practice tips on page 4 of this newsletter.

We are pleased to share the revised "STUDENT ENRICHMENT PROGRAM" for the rest of the year.

These events are intended to give our students a time frame and musical space to set learning goals and  develop the habit of practising with goals and intention.

Learning with a curious mindset and practising with intention go hand in hand in achieving success in the music learning journey.

We can look forward to our annual Forte Festival concerts on Sunday 31 August and 7 September from 3:30pm. All Forte classes including Junior Keys, Piano Keys and Creative Keys classes will be involved on either of these two dates. A performance session time will be allocated to each class. Each class will perform a "Concert Piece" and an "Ensemble Piece".  We will post further details and let you know actual performance date and time for your child's class. Please save both dates in the mean time.
