Family Mass

Thank you to everyone who attended our final Family Mass for 2023 last Saturday. Following Mass, everyone gathered at the Presbytery to celebrate the Parish Christmas Party. They had a fantastic time dressing up in their best Christmas clothes along with games and lollies for the children. Thank you to Mr John McPherson and his band for providing the live entertainment.

All Saints Day and All Souls Day

At the beginning of November, we recognised All Saints Day and All Souls Day. Our staff and students were given the opportunity to remember and pray for those who have died by writing their name on a piece of paper and placing it on the Cross. During the month of November we prayed for these people.

Feast Day of St Francis Xavier

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Francis Xavier at a lovely Mass held yesterday. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our patron saint, Saint Francis Xavier.During Mass, the candle was lit on the wreath for the first week of Advent.

The congregation then joined together after Mass, for a picnic morning tea and a concert by our amazing School Band. After weeks of preparation, they performed 10 musical pieces for a very captivated audience including ‘Havana’ ‘Rainbow connection’ ‘I feel good’ and ‘Mission impossible ‘ to name a few. With a total of 40 band members in attendance, accompanied by four past students, it was a fantastic concert.

Thank You

As I will be retiring from the Religious Education Coordinator's position, I would like to thank Father Sabu, Father James and Father Max, Religious staff at the Catholic Schools Office, all the St. Francis Xavier's staff and parents for your support, guidance and assistance over the past 11 years. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as REC and will continue to support the faith journey of our students.
