Whole School Transition

Last Thursday October 30, we had our first whole school transition morning. Kinder students who will be commencing Foundation (Prep) with us in 2026, as well as any new transfers into our school joined our current Foundation to Year 5.

These sessions are a great chance for students to get to know staff and new students who could be in their class next year. Our next session is on Thursday 13th November.

Glen and I, along with school leaders, are still working on the staffing profile for 2026, so your child’s new class teacher will not be known yet.

Last week, “Good Fit Ice Cream” page were sent home (formerly a hand), you can talk with your child to record 5 friends or peers that would be a suitable choice for classes for 2026. We do our best to match students and get the best ‘combo’ of students in our classes to ensure a successful year, but can’t guarantee more than 1 of these friends on the ice cream, so please think carefully and discuss who would work well in a class with your child.
