Principals' Weekly Update

Grandparents Morning – A Wonderful Success!

Our recent Grandparents Morning was a truly special occasion, filled with smiles, laughter, and cherished memories. Teachers, children, and grandparents all agreed that the event was a huge success and a highlight of the term.

The morning offered a lovely opportunity for grandparents and children to share stories and compare the similarities and differences between school life now and then. Interestingly, many discovered that there were more similarities than differences! There were countless special moments between grandparents and grandchildren, and we know these memories will be lasting ones.

A very big thank you to our Year 2 parents for providing the beautiful morning tea. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, adding an extra touch of warmth and care to the morning.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so memorable – we’re already looking forward to next year’s celebration!

Junior School Sports Day

On Wednesday, our Prep to Year 2 students participated in a range of sporting challenges, including the limbo, relays, sack races, and the furthest throw. It was wonderful to see the children dressed in their house colours and enthusiastically engaging in each event. Our Year 5 and 6 students had the opportunity to showcase their leadership skills by running the various activities. The feedback from teachers and spectators made us proud - our students demonstrated excellent leadership and school spirit throughout the event.

Captain’s Corner – We Want Your Feedback!

Our School Captains are seeking your feedback on their 2025 initiative, which will be featured in the fortnightly newsletter, Captain’s Corner. The children are eager to hear your thoughts and analyse the feedback they receive. Please take this opportunity to have your say and support our young leaders in shaping their ideas for the year ahead.

Halloween/Casual Clothes DayTomorrow (Friday, 31 October), our Year 6 PFA/SRC team is excited to host a Halloween/Casual Clothes Day! Children are asked to bring a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going toward the new shaded seating area near the Futsal Court.

The Year 6 team will also be running a parade at 12:00 p.m., always a highlight of the day with plenty of music, costumes, and dancing.

In addition, students will have the opportunity to purchase homemade lemonade made by our talented Year 2 students, Amira and Selena, and Snackadillo will be open, serving sausages in bread.

It’s sure to be a fun-filled day for everyone!
