Reconciliation Walk

Today, twenty-one Rochester Secondary College students represented the college community at the 2024 Reconciliation Walk in Echuca. The morning began at Alton Reserve with a Welcome to Country and a Smoking Ceremony conducted by Yorta Yorta Elder, Uncle Rick. 

Our students then joined fellow students, community groups and community members from across the Campaspe Shire in a reconciliation walk down Hare Street, through the Port of Echuca onto Hopwood Gardens.  

The event concluded with a flag raising ceremony and guest speakers talking about the importance of reconciliation and its significance to a united future going forward.
