Principal Report

Dear Families,

It has been another busy, but short, week here at Dana Street Primary School. Students returned from the long weekend refreshed and ready for the second half of the term. This was also the first Wednesday for our Foundation students; they were very excited to be here! 

School Leader Investiture 

On Thursday, our School Leaders were presented with their leadership badges in the Investiture Ceremony. The students read their leadership speeches at the senior school, and it was wonderful for them to share this special ceremony with their families. We are so proud of the work our School Leaders are already doing within our school. 

NAPLAN

Our Year 3 and Year 5 students begun their NAPLAN testing this week. As you may have seen in the news, we had some difficulties with the first day of testing, but our Year 5 students showed a lot of resilience when dealing with the technical issues.
