Term 1, Week 2

During our student briefing on Monday morning, a few boys shared something that went well for them in Week 1. It was refreshing to hear boys share about their new friendships, their parents dropping them at school, their teacher, or their favourite subject. Once again in 2025, the Junior School will be partnering with ‘The Resilience Project’ to continue promoting student and staff wellbeing. This social and emotional program has four key pillars which your son will continue to learn about throughout the school year.

• Gratitude - paying attention to the things that we have

• Empathy - understanding others’ feelings and showing kindness and compassion

• Mindfulness - paying attention to what is happening right now

• Emotional Literacy - labelling, understanding, and expressing our emotions.
