Welcome to Term 4!

Welcome back to what is always one of the most exciting terms of the year! We hope everyone enjoyed a restful break and is ready for a busy and fun Term 4.

There’s plenty to look forward to, starting with Camps Week — one of the highlights of the year! Our Year 3s head off to Camp Toolangi and Year 4s to Camp Manyung from Monday 20 to Wednesday 22 October, while our Year 5s venture to The Summit from Wednesday 22 to Friday 24 October. Closer to home, our Year 1 Staylate and Year 2 Sleepover (both on Thursday 23 October) promise plenty of excitement too!

We also have a fantastic line-up of events across the term — sports days, our Art Show, Prep 2026 Transition sessions as we welcome next year’s newest students, and of course, time to celebrate and farewell our Year 6s as they prepare for graduation.

There’s Bike Ed for the Year 3s, the always-colourful CHAPs Colour Run, our Christmas Concert, and so much more to come.

It’s going to be a full and rewarding term — let’s make it a great one!

Welcome Back, Julie!

We’re delighted to welcome back Julie Reid to Croydon Hills Primary School after spending Terms 2 and 3 as Acting Principal at Gladysdale Primary School.

During her time at Gladysdale, Julie made a wonderful contribution, leading positive improvements and supporting the school community. We congratulate her on all she achieved in the role.

Julie now returns to her position as Assistant Principal, where she will lead key areas of strategic planning — including preparations for our 2026 school goals — and oversee daily school organisation.

For consistency and continuity for our students and families, Assistant Principal Jordan Tate will continue in his current portfolio of Student Wellbeing and Inclusion, which has traditionally been part of Julie’s role.

We’re thrilled to have Julie back on the leadership team and look forward to the great work ahead!
