Hello Gympie, East parents, carers and community,

Thankyou to our fantastic community for an excellent Grandparents/Special Person's Day! It was lovely to see students working their way around the school filling up their passports with their Grandparents or special people in their lives. Thankyou to the P&C and parent group for donating so much yummy food to share and making it a memorable day. Thankyou also to the Staff and Students for their hard work in preparing for the day. Finally thankyou to the community groups and businesses who donating their time or goods, we appreciate you. I have placed the sponsor logos below. 

Mrs Ireland will be on leave for all of Term 4. We are finalising a replacement for her on Monday and Tuesdays, and we will let the community know once confirmed. We will look forward to welcoming Mrs Ireland back in 2026. 

We will be starting swimming lessons in Term 4 at the Aquatic Centre on Tozer Rd. All lessons and bus costs will be free. Swimming will be every Friday commencing in Week 3 on Friday 24th October and will end in Week 8 on Friday 28th November. A note will be emailed home to families with more information. 

We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holidays! School will reopen on Tuesday 7th October due to the Public Holiday for the King's Birthday on Monday 6th October.
