From Perspectives Evening to Reach Out

Perspectives Evening

  • Praise God for the opportunity to share the gospel clearly with new families at our Perspectives Evening.
  • Thank God for the positive feedback from parents and the wisdom of the Board to begin this initiative.
  • Thank God for the Christian parents who came to support and connect with families during table discussions.

Upcoming 321 Course – Wednesday, 22 October

  • Pray that God will work in the hearts of people to sign up for this course.
  • Ask that our Christian community will be bold in inviting friends and family, and that many will accept the invitation. (Invitation attatched)
  • 321 invites people to see life the way Jesus does—helping participants reflect on God, the world, and themselves through engaging videos and illustrations.

Followers in Training – Year 5

  • Praise God for the recent Followers in Training event for our Year 5 students.
  • Thank Him for the teaching on living holy lives and encouragement in leadership within CRU.
  • Thank God for the CRU team and the opportunity for our students to connect with other Christians in the Illawarra region.

Year 12 – Graduation and Exams

  • Thank God for our Year 12 students and all they have heard and learnt about the gospel at NCS.
  • Pray Christian students will hold firm to their faith as they step into life beyond school.
  • For those who do not yet believe, ask that God will continue to place Christians in their lives and remind them of the truth they’ve encountered.
  • Pray for wisdom, peace, and perseverance as students prepare for their HSC and seek God’s guidance for the future.

Reach Out Conference

  • Pray for the group of 9 students, along with Mrs Flippance and Mrs Thuaux, attending the Reach Out Mission Conference this Saturday.
  • Thank God for this opportunity to serve the wider church community through catering and hospitality.
  • Pray that students will be inspired and encouraged as they attend sessions and workshops, hearing from cross-cultural workers and growing in their passion for mission.

Holidays

  • Pray for safety for all in our school community during the holiday break.
  • Ask for refreshment and rest for staff and students.
  • Pray for positive and enriching family time together.
