Prep = 400m

Grade 1/2 = 800m

9/10 years = 1.5km

11years and 12/13 years = 2km

 

Cross country training for students should focus on fun, building endurance through consistent, light running, and focussing on proper form to prevent injury. At OHR we learn about soft shoulders, robot arms and eyes up. Fun training at the park could include warm-ups, games, short interval workouts, and simple strength exercises.
