Werris Creek Public School is going digital in Term 2 and will be posting all notes, newsletters and information through the Sentral Portal. A note was sent home previously asking parents and carers if they wish to receive via digital means or via paper copy. We still have a number of families that have not indicated their preference. Could you please ensure this note is returned to our office as soon as possible. If you require another copy, please contact the school office. Notes that are not returned will be deemed as wanting a digital copy and not in paper form.


Walhealth will be visiting our school this Thursday, 23rd April for all indigenous students to complete the 715 health checks. All notes must be returned tomorrow to ensure your place is secure. If you require a note, please contact the school office on 6768 7065.


We will be holding our annual School Cross Country next Wednesday, 29th April. Please ensure all students are in full school sports uniform and appropriate footwear is worn. Parents/Carers are invited to come and support our students on the day.


Our School Polo Shirts in Sizes 6, 8, 10 and 12 are now in stock. If you wish to purchase polo shirts in these sizes please see the school office.




Werris Creek Public School will be marching at the Annual ANZAC March and Ceremony in Werris Creek on Saturday, 25th April 2025. We invite all of our students to join us in Marching and to meet our staff at the butcher shop on the corner of Coronation Avenue and Single Street at 10:15am dressed in full school sports uniform.


Quirindi High School will be holding a Taster Day at Quirindi High School on Tuesday 28th April 2026. All students to arrive at Quirindi High School at 9:20am and collected at 2:35pm. Students to be transported by Parents/Carers on the day. We ask that all students bring their morning tea and a drink bottle for the day. A BBQ lunch will be provided. All enquiries with regards to the taster day please contact Quirindi High School.


Our prizes for the colour run have arrived and will be available for collection from tomorrow. Please note a Parent/Carer must collect prizes as they will not be given out to students.


School Photos will be held on Tuesday, 26th May (Week 6). Photo envelopes will be sent home tomorrow for ordering. Please ensure that envelopes are returned to the school office by Thursday, 21st May. Sibling envelopes are available from the school office on request.
