Mrs Makeham

As we approach the end of Term 2, we're certainly feeling the cold. It already feels like a long winter, and I know many of our students and teachers have been battling various flus and illnesses over the past few weeks.
Despite the sniffles and coughs, everyone has shown incredible resilience and dedication. Let's all keep looking after ourselves and each other as we push through these final days. I'm hoping we can all make it to the end of next week healthy and ready for a well-deserved break!
On a brighter note, after reading all the school reports, I'm incredibly impressed by the progress students have made in their learning this semester. This is a true testament to their effort and the hard work of their teachers and class educational assistants.
It was also truly fantastic to watch our St Patrick's students compete in netball, soccer, and hockey over the weekend. There's no doubting St Patrick's students' enthusiasm for sport and how good they are! The manner in which they compete and their excellent sportsmanship makes me incredibly proud to be associated with them.
Mini Vinnies Winter Appeal next Friday 4th July 2025
Students can participate by wearing mufti day clothes to school on the last day of term.
Gold coin donation will go towards St Vincent De Paul winter appeal.
Pupil-Free Day
Just a reminder that the first day of Term 3 ( Monday, July 21st) is a pupil -free day. Teachers and Educational Assistants will be hard at work wrapping their heads around the new New South Wales curriculum.
Congratulations to Our First Communicants!
This past Sunday, three of our Year 3 students, Ella Waters, Fergus Davey and McKenzie Wark received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. It was a truly special day for them, their families, and our parish.
Tomorrow, at out school Mass, Archie King, Levi Williams and Archer Clark will receive their First Holy Communion.
Receiving First Holy Communion is a significant and important milestone, and we are incredibly proud of their dedication and preparation. We wish them all the best as they continue to grow in their faith.
