OSHC AFTER SCHOOL CARE

🌟 What’s Happening

Our OSHC program continues to provide a safe, engaging and fun space for children before and after school. Each week children have access to a variety of experiences including creative arts, STEM challenges, cooking, sports, construction, group games and quiet relaxation spaces.

We focus on building friendships, supporting wellbeing and giving children opportunities to explore their interests.

YOUNG CARER ART COMPETITION

Bendigo Health Carer Support Services provide short-term support to young carers in our region. A young carer is anyone under 25 who supports a friend or family member with disability, mental illness, age-related condition, or other health issue. This support may include attending appointments, interpreting, helping with household tasks, providing emotional support, or caring for younger siblings. Young Carers and their families can access support by calling 1800 422 737 or visiting www.carergateway.gov.au

Young carers (25 and under) are invited to create and submit a drawing, painting, photograph or other artwork on paper or canvas inspired by the theme ‘Your Art, Your Voice’ by 31 July 2026.Best entries will be showcased at a Young Carer Art Exhibition and displayed at Holstep Health sites!

Complete a Carer Star conversation
Submit their artwork by taking a photo and emailing to CGcarerengagement@holstephealth.org.au along with a short paragraph explaining the piece

Prizes (per age group: 12 & under, 13–18, 19–25):
