National Schools Tree Planting Day 

This week schools all over Australia participated in the National Tree Planting Day. Naranga School registered the event with Planet Ark and Frankston council kindly donated fifty seedlings. Students across the school took part in planting small shrubs and trees to help improve our school environment. Classes planted small shrubs in the area outside the staffroom and larger trees planted along the boundary. All the plants are suited to our coastal environment and ae drought tolerant. We will source some special protectors to go around our little seedlings to protect them from the birds and watch their progress.
