Lower Juniors artwork communicate about artworks they make and view by reacting to sensory elements within artwork. Students assist in the making of artworks in different forms using different techniques:

Bear and duck are friends, Sue Degennaro (book from Christina Librarian). Activity: Draw the shape of a Bears head onto a piece of coloured card, cut it out, choose some wool or thread and a small piece of masking tape on the back to hold the wool in place. Start wrapping the wool around the bear head, then put on a set of eyes nose and mouth from scrap card. Consider the bears emotions display.
