Prayer at home doesn’t always need to be formal or follow a set prayer. It can simply be a quiet moment spent with God — talking, listening, giving thanks, asking for help or reflecting on the day. Families might pray together at bedtime or before a meal, or simply take a few moments to pause and have an informal conversation with God.
These small moments can help us slow down, reflect and recognise God’s presence in our everyday lives.

On Tuesday 29th September, we celebrate the Feast of Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, the three archangels named in Sacred Scripture. Michael is recognised as a protector, Gabriel as a messenger of good news, and Raphael as a healer.
St Michael holds a special place in our school and parish community, as our parish and school are named in his honour. Established 80 years ago in the years following the end of World War II, our parish was named St Michael as the parishioners wanted to place themselves under the care and protection
of St Michael.
To celebrate this special feast, we will hold a whole-school prayer liturgy in The Hub on Thursday 8th October, from 9.00–9.20 am.
Parents and friends are warmly invited to join us.
St Michael, our protector, pray for us.

For the care of water ...
Let us pray for a just and sustainable management of water, a vital resource, so that everyone may have equal access to it.
Amen
