From the Principal

Hello everyone

We are at the end of Term 3 2026! Thank you everyone for another amazing term. We are in the midst of a great Footy day - thank you to Mr Liston for his organisation of the parade and activities and to Mr Moore and the volunteer parents from Year 6 for the sausages for lunch.

There have been many learning opportunities and experiences for the students again this term and I would like to give a shout out to all the staff here at OGPS for the work they put in to organising these. From JSC organisation of ice bucket challenges to Interschool sports, Maths Olympiad, author visits and Premier Reading Challenge there has been so much fun had alongside the learning.

Our STEM building is continuing at a steady pace, with internal walls now making it easier to see where the classrooms will be. We will have 7 classrooms on the ground floor and specialist rooms (including a big library) on the first floor. I am sure that it will look very different again when we return from holidays - with the brickwork hopefully being completed by our return.

We are looking forward to the production next term, with excitement levels rising! Compass will have ticket sale dates and costume requirements so please keep a look out for alerts from Miss J or Mr Moore.

I hope that you have a safe and restful holiday period and look forward to seeing you all next term.
