MPW's Biggest Morning Tea
On Thursday, 22nd June we will be hosting MPW's Biggest Morning Tea to raise funds for the Cancer Council.
This event is a joint fundraising effort by the MPW Fundraising Group and the Junior School Council (JSC). There will be a raffle and a guest speaker, and entry to the Morning Tea will be a $5.00 donation. The Morning Tea will commence at 11.00 am and will be held in the staffroom.
Students have commenced making a daffodil in their classrooms which be displayed on the day, students are asked to donate a gold coin, and a payment envelope will go home tomorrow. JSC will also be holding a Bake Stall on Wednesday, 21st June, items for sale will be $1.00 and $2.00 with all funds raised going to our fundraising effort for the Biggest Morning Tea.
We are seeking your support for the event by:
- Assisting students with the baking of items for the JSC Bake Sale on the 21st of June and the running of the Bake Sale. The Bake Sale will be held between 11-12.00 pm.
- Provide items to share at the Biggest Morning Tea on the 22nd of June (to be dropped off on Wednesday morning)
- Coming along to the 'MPW Biggest Morning Tea'

EVERY CUPPA MAKES A DIFFERENCE
$150 provides two people recently diagnosed with cancer with one-on-one support, connecting them to a trained Cancer Connect volunteer.
$500 helps provide training to leaders of cancer support groups where people can meet and share their experiences in an emotionally supportive environment.
$1000 pays for an analysis of two gene samples for a research project.
Bunnings BBQ
On Saturday 19th of August, the MPW community will be manning the Bunnings BBQ at Maribyrnong. This is a fantastic fundraising opportunity for the school, look out for more details next term.
Parent Social Function
Please save the date for the MPW Parent Social Function which will be held on Saturday, 9th of September at the Essendon Rowing Club. Further details on this not to be missed social event coming soon.
