International Student Program 2022

Our International Students enjoyed their day at Mordialloc College House Swimming on Thursday 24 February as some of them had never previously experienced a swimming competition.

Congratulations go to international student Nick Z who won the 2022 Karaoke Competition at House Swimming.

Nick arrived in Melbourne in January this year as an international student at Mordialloc College. He is not only a great singer but also a very talented cellist (he has won many prizes). He started to play the violin at age 5, before moving on to learn the cello at 9 years old. 

Nick said he was really surprised to win this karaoke award and he would like to thank all the teachers and students for their support and for giving him the opportunity. He said there aren't any swimming competitions at his school in China. He was very impressed that  the local students are so passionate about the sports.

Nick's rendition of All of Me captured all of us! We are pleased that Nick will join the Songwriting club every Wednesday at lunchtime.  We look forward to hearing more from Nick in the future.
