Spiny Leaf Insects For Sale

Easy to care for – just need an enclosure (can be purchased online or at some petshops) – only eat gum leaves – no offensive smells/odours – completely safe to handle.

Here is a link to information about lifecycle and care of various phasmids, including spiny leaf insects: https://australian.museum/learn/animals/insects/care-of-stick-insects/

Juvenile insects can sell in some pet shops for up to $35 each.  We are selling ours for $2.00 each.

Parent Resource Bank

We have a wonderfully diverse parent and alumni community of St Andrews. The range of experiences, occupations, skills and knowledge is vast!

To further our partnership in educating and preparing our young people for life we would like to offer an opportunity for your name to be placed in a resource bank along with some details about what you would be willing to share about (and any physical objects or images that you could bring in to support your presentation). This would then be made available to Primary and Secondary staff who may then contact you to invite you to speak to their class, or perhaps share at an assembly or other event.

You may have mission/cultural experience, have an occupation that you could give insight into, expertise in a particular skill or field – the list is endless!

Please contact me via the email address below with your:

  • Name
  • Contact number
  • Topic(s)
  • Supporting item (or NA)
  • Age range preference (if any)
  • Any other information as you see fit

Please also contact me if you would like to talk further about this.

Kind regards,

Sustainability

As the sunflowers turn their head to the sun, I hope students will turn to Sustainability. The Sustainability team have met to plan some projects for this year and we welcome any students and staff to join us each Wednesday week B lunchtime in the art room. This year the garden club will be on Monday lunchtimes in the veggie patch and we will continue to sell the organic produce with a percentage of the profit going towards soil and seedlings and the remainder donated to the Tear Fund.

So, if you have any questions or are passionate about sustainability, we would love you to join the team!

St Andrews Netball Club

New Netball Season

Winter 2023 Season starts on 25 February. We are thrilled to announce that we have 6 teams consisting of 54 players registered to play this Season.

Under 9s team

We have a U/9s team for the first time! These players completed the Netstars program last year. Netstars was a fun and engaging program for these young budding players, and we are so thrilled that they have decided to join our Netball Club this year.
