Student Voice

This week we held our first SRC meeting for 2023! It was great to have such an enthusiastic bunch of students ready to represent their classes. 

The SRC first set expectations for what an SRC member should do in the role. 

They were then shown the Google Classroom that will be used to gather their and their classes ideas to be reviewed each meeting. 

Members also worked together to choose roles for the assembly. It is now a long-standing tradition that the SRC host our Wednesday assemblies. Members will try their roles on Wednesday with the support of Mr P, working towards hosting independently. 

Finally, the SRC approved that the hosting of a very special first birthday on the 6th of March - Maggie the school therapy dog is turning 1! 

We are still waiting on a few more members to be voted in. Then we will do a SRC introduction on this page. 

The most asked question today... "When do I get my badge?" Badges are being ordered and families will be notified when we have a date for the assembly where the badges will be presented. The suspense!!
