Reminders, P&C & Community News
P&C
The P&C are unable to hold any social or fundraising events this year due to COVID-19. Our plans included a Comedy Night and Wine Tastings the funds of which, along with any successful community grants we may receive, would have been used to support school projects. This year we planned to contribute to the following:
1. Final fit out to the new COLA outside the MPC. Add lighting, sound and a screen to support outdoor performance. (This will also enable hiring to the community thereby increasing revenue back to school.)
2. Extending the existing Dance Cottage studio space to create a larger performance space and flexible seating. This includes replacing the floor and installing a kitchenette. Will also mean functions can be held in one space with nearby car parking and school entrance.
3. Creation of a STEM maker space.
4. Upgrading a space to create a Student Wellbeing Hub.
We have therefore created a "GiveNow" account as a tax deductible fundraiser to replace any other events we had planned this year for those who are in a position to donate.
Those who wish to can click on the donation button below which will take you to our donation page. Receipts will be issued via email and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
