The 2021 Arts Showcase is approaching fast.  After completing their wearable art pieces last semester, students from Prep through to year 12 are very busy working on their Pop Art sculptures of giant food products to display at the gallery.  We have ice-cream, McDonald’s cheeseburger and fries, lollypops, cupcakes, rainbow cake and a rather large bottle of tomato sauce, just to mention a few.

On the 8th of October, students will have the opportunity to preview their work throughout the day at the Walter Reid Cultural Centre before the doors open at 6:30pm to welcome them back with their families, friends, staff and community members. A string ensemble will welcome everyone and wine and cheese will be available throughout the night along with green cordial and punch.  The students will travel on bus during school hours with their class mates.  Please return notes for this excursion if you have not already.  If you have any questions about the Arts Showcase please feel free to contact me at the school.
