Attendance, Volleyball and Enrichment Day

Attendance

Consistent attendance at school is very important for your child. The following table illustrates just how being away can impact your child.

Volleyball

Claire has been coming on Tuesdays (and some Wednesdays) to teach the children about staying fit and how to play volleyball. She is an amazing resource for our school and she teaches the children much more than how to hit a volleyball. She also demonstrates skills such as perseverance, sharing and team work and we are lucky to have her at our school.

Enrichment Day

On Monday, the 21st of June, selected Year 3 and 4 students will come to Larnook PS from our local small schools to take part in an Enrichment Day. We have chosen to do some pottery, make pancakes, paint portraits and eat pizza on the day. (Do you notice a theme there?)

These days are a way to share some of what each school does and are also a way for the children to mix with students from other schools. We're looking forward to a fun day.

Thanks to Mark (Aryon's Dad) and Jade (Aryon's sister) for helping us with the pottery.

A note will come out soon about the day.
