CJC Garage sale report

Thank you to everyone who donated a cake, held a stall or came to pick up a bargain and bought 2nd hand uniform, a sausages or a cake at CJC’s first ever Garage Sale last Sunday. It was a wonderful community event and it was delightful to see the stalls of our entrepreneurial students.

We are pleased to announce that we raised $3895.30 to be used to improve our school.

A huge “merci” to the event coordinator, Anne-Sophie Aguado, who created and lead this event – we have already had requests for more garage sales in the future!  The PC would also like to acknowledge the support from the school and its administration team to facilitate this event and to establish an electronic payment system for this and our future events.

The Parent’s Committee would also like to thank the following volunteers:  Amanda Ferrier, Amira Franlkin, Amy Pate, Angela Ong, Asmine Hammadou, Arvind Chandran, Belinda Hofmeyr, Brad Rosenthal, Carli Rosenthal, Charlotte Conn, Clarel Philibert (BBQ coordinator), Damian Pomeroy, Daniel Small, Donna Rogers, Ed Halford and family, Jared Furtado, Jeremy Hardy, Julia, Kate Bransford, Lee Mennie, Marion Garnier, Mathew Thompson, Melinda Leger, Marni Baker (uniform coordinator), Michael Gantier,  Penny Small, Rachael Hart (cake stall coordinator), Pat Fitzgerald, Rhyall Mitchell, Rosemary Jeunet, Sailasree Akyam, Sandy Casaroli, Sarah Spring, Sophie, Stefanie & Andrew Leong, Swapna Garge and Vaea Wong Fat. Class Year Level Stay and Play Afternoons

To enable further opportunities for families and our children to connect, Class Convenors, PC and the School have organized a series of “Stay and Play” after school events where families can stay on school ground from 3.30 until 5.30 to enjoy a casual catch up. Children must be supervised by a parent. Your class convenor will be in touch with more details for your class.  Siblings, including those in other year levels are welcome to attend.
