Monsignor Ted Wilkes would like to invite parishioners to Sunday Mass 10am.

Covid-19 restrictions have been changed and as of July 1st. The Bishops of New South Wales have outlined that we are willing and able to observe the following:

4 square meters per person and 1.5m spatial distancing
On entering the church, each attendee's contact details are to be recorded
At risk parishioners being exhorted not to attend
Minimise time gathered together by simplifying services
Not using collection plates and hymn books; no shaking of hands or holding hands; Holy Communion to be given and received safely
Hand sanitiser available at entrances; and commonly touched surfaces regularly disinfected
Those who attend will need to sign a contact sheet which will be at the door. This is for Health Department contact tracing in the event of an outbreak.

ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER SUNDAY

This significant day for the Church in Australia is to be marked this year on Sun 5 July.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced NATSICC to rethink the ways in how we empower Catholics to celebrate our special day. This year, we have modified our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Sunday resources to work in a digital setting. We are also holding the first-ever live-streamed, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Sunday Mass from the St Francis Xavier Cathedral in Adelaide from 11.30am EST. The livestream will be available from the NATSICC homepage.

We are inviting everyone around Australia - and the World - to join us on 5 July 2020, as we come ‘Together in the Spirit’ to celebrate the gifts of spirituality and culture.

The footprints of my grandfathers are imprinted on the earth and their images become real to me. I see my Grandfathers standing tall and strong, warriors of long ago. I hear them singing, I see them dancing, and my spirit moves within me.

Sacrament Dates 2020 - First Holy Communion
