PRAYER
Lord Jesus, You are my help,
For anyone who comes to You Will not be turned away.
Longing for Your gentleness, I turn to You today.
Lord Jesus, You are my help,
For You came to teach and heal,
Giving hope through Your Word.
In Your compassion now I pray With hope, for I am heard.
Lord Jesus, You are my help,
For giving Yourself upon the Cross Has opened heaven’s doors.
May I be blessed in joining My suffering with Yours
Amen.
From the Principal
Dear Families,
The photos included in this newsletter reflect the wonderful school community of St Philip’s. Together, our students, staff, families, and friends create an environment where everyone feels valued, known and cared for. We look forward to many more opportunities in Term 4 when we can make lasting memories of our time together in the St Philip’s community.
Hats in Term 4
A reminder to families that in accordance with our he school’s SunSmart Policy all students are required to wear the school hat during Term 4. Students will be required to remain undercover in the canteen area during recess and lunchtimes if they are not wearing the school hat.
As we approach the holidays, I encourage everyone to rest, recharge and enjoy some quality time with family and friends. I wish you all a happy and safe holiday.
Warm regards,
Michelle Worcester
Principal

District Athletics
On Monday 7th September our Grade 3-6 students competed at District Athletics at Tom Kelly Track in Doncaster. We are incredibly proud of our students for showcasing their talents and the effort they put into training and preparation to compete against students from other schools. We are thrilled to announce that two of our students, Francis and Aria, have progressed to the next competition level of Division Athletics. Francis will compete in long jump and Aria in shot put at Division Athletics on Tuesday 13th October. We wish both of these students the very best as they represent our school with pride.
