Principal’s News

Nicholas Boyhan

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we reach the conclusion of Semester One, I am very pleased with the achievements and growth I have witnessed throughout these past months. Our school community has persevered through challenges and embraced opportunities with resilience and determination.

Improved Learning Dispositions

I have observed a notable improvement in the learning dispositions of our students throughout Semester One.  Children are regularly demonstrating our school values of , creativity in problem-solving, and kindness towards one another.  Whether in the classroom, on the sporting field, or in our various Friendship Group  activities, their passion shines through in everything they do.

A Thank You for Parent Involvement

To our parents and carers: we thank you and continue to invite your support and partnership through being classroom and excursion helpers, members of our Parents and Friends Committee and our soon to be elected School Advisory Council.  I am extending the application date for membership of this council by a week as I know there are some very busy people who would like to be part of this group but have not had a chance to submit their application.  Applications close on Friday 5 July. Applicants should include a one page letter stating their experience and expertise that would allow them to contribute meaningfully to this governance body.  Please contact me for more information.

To the Staff

Thank you for being such integral members of our community. Your hard work, expertise, and unwavering dedication to our students are the cornerstone of our school's success. Your efforts inside and outside the classroom create a learning environment where every child can flourish.

As we look ahead to Semester Two, let us carry forward the lessons learned and the accomplishments achieved. Together, we will continue to strive for excellence in education, foster a supportive community, and empower our students to reach their fullest potential.

Wishing you all a restful and rejuvenating break. Thank you for your continued commitment to St Joseph's School.

Warm regards,

Nick.
