Museums in Motion 'Holiday Homework'

An invitation went out to families this week to our Seniors' Museums in Motion presentation.  Unfortunately the date was incorrect.  

The actual date is in Week 2 of Term 3.  It is Wednesday 24th July at 3.05pm.

Please assist students to find the bits and pieces they need to create their costumes.  

MLMC Future Stars

On Wednesday, the Year 5 students visited Mount Lilydale Mercy College for a transition day.  This gave students another opportunity to become familiar with life in a secondary school.  They enjoyed activities such as media, science, sport and cooking.

Maths

In Maths, the 5/6s have been translating, reflecting and rotating two-dimensional shapes, as well as investigating the effects of combinations of transformations on simple and composite shapes and creating tesselations. On Monday, the Year 5s used mirrors to investigate and draw reflected shapes. 

Just Dance!

To warm up our freezing bodies on Monday morning, 5/6FD showed off their funky dance moves during morning fitness!

Confirmation

On Tuesday night, Lexi Kennedy made her Confirmation at St Mary's, Mount Evelyn. It was a lovely celebration and Lexi did a fantastic job reading a prayer. Congratulations, Lexi!

Celebration

At the end of the term, our PBL leaders organised a reward for showing positive behaviours and filling up our Gotcha Tower.  Here we are enjoying our movie 'Inside Out'.

We are wishing you all a happy and relaxing holiday and we hope you all find some well deserved family time and find those little moments to warm your toes and hearts.
