News from F/1/2

What a big last two weeks of Term 2 we have had! We are really proud of how resilient all of the F/1/2 students have been with such a big term and the colder weather! Seeing so much learning has been great, and we wish you all a wonderful holiday!

Inquiry Presentation Afternoon

It was wonderful to see so many families attend our inquiry presentation on Wednesday afternoon! The kids have learned so much over the term, and we are really proud of their achievements! We hope that you enjoyed seeing their inventions and learning about everything we have been!

The presentation showcased an invention they created to save the world. Many inventions were made to help stop the pollution of rubbish, and a few other inventions helped people and animals! They also showcased a car they designed and made using recycled materials and a poster that was a fact file about an old toy from the late 1800s to the early 2000s.

Writing

Well, we have had many keen writers in the classroom over the past week. It has been so great to see many amazing pieces of writing produced! We are really proud to see students stretching out words, using punctuation, and much more!

Gymnastics

Over the last four weeks the whole school has been involved in learning gymnastics routines.  The F/1/2 students have loved testing their skills on the bars, mats, beam, and trampolines.
