Leadership Report

Term 4, Week 11
Dear families,
It is hard to believe that we have reached the end of another school year. 2025 has been a year filled with excitement, productivity and positive relationships.
I would like to sincerely thank all our students for their efforts throughout the year. For going about their learning with enthusiasm and purpose. Without a doubt, it is our students who make our school such a wonderful place to be. Thank you!
I would like to thank our school captains Elijah Kam, Luca Nott, Winifred Tracey, Archie Pyke, Claudia Groombridge and Freya Whitty for their outstanding leadership throughout the year. I would also like to thank all of our sports captains and junior school council members for their contributions and leadership throughout the year. Thank you!
I would like to thank our parent community for your patience, trust in us and support of our school which is most appreciated by all of staff, leadership team and myself. Thank you!
Thank you to all Year 6 students for a great year. We wish you every success and good luck in your new high schools!
And the school would not be able to operate without our wonderful teaching staff, education support staff, office staff, health hub staff and school leaders. Thank you! Crissy, Giorgia, Kaitlyn, Bronwyn, Matthew, Jonathon and Shevani, I thank you all for sharing the leadership journey with me and doing everything in your power to continuously improve our programs, supports, facilities for every member of our WNPS Community. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
The school gates will be locked for the Christmas and New Year period. Should any of our school community see any visitors who should not be onsite, please contact the police. The first day of school for 2026 is the 27th of January, and this is a student free day. All staff will be onsite undertaking professional development and ensuring their classrooms are ready for the students’ first day on the 28th of January 2026.
Finally, I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I wish you all safe travels, throughout the holiday season, stay healthy, be rested and I look forward to seeing you all in 2026.
