2027 - Parent Payment Arrangements 

Thank you to all our families who supported OGPS through voluntary contributions this year. Your generosity helps us provide valuable resources and learning opportunities for our students.

For 2027, the Department of Education has updated its policy on voluntary contributions. The main change is that there will be one general voluntary contribution, along with the tax-deductible Library Fund and Building Fund contributions.

Our bulk stationery purchasing program has been very successful again this year, and we will continue this approach in 2027. By purchasing supplies in bulk and delivering them directly to classrooms, we ensure students have the resources they need for learning without families needing to purchase individual book packs. This approach also supports teachers and promotes more sustainable practices.  Voluntary contributions help fund classroom and specialist supplies, online subscriptions such as Seesaw, Sentral and Essential Assessments, specialist equipment, and chair bags and reading bags for Foundation students.  Contribution amounts may vary across year levels to reflect the different stationery and resource requirements of each cohort.

All voluntary contributions for 2027 will be added to Sentral at the beginning of Term 1 and any outstanding contributions from 2026 will be removed at this time.  Optional excursions, camps, sporting activities and other events will be added to Sentral throughout the year as they arise.

We sincerely appreciate your continued support in helping OGPS provide the resources and opportunities that support our students’ learning and success.  Look out for the Parent Payment Arrangements 2027 information being sent home this week.
