Year 11 Ice Hockey Excursion

On Tuesday 15 October, the VCE Year 11 PE class took a trip to the O’Brien Icehouse, where they got to learn the basics of ice skating and even played some ice hockey. With this, the year 11s expanded their knowledge of equipment. During ice hockey, our knowledge was then applied. Whilst many of the boys weren’t even going for the puck and rather each other, this solidified our recognition of why protective equipment is important as anything can happen, which was shown when even Miss Oliver got taken out!
