Competition Successes in Science

A huge congratulations to all the students who took part in the recent ICAS Science exam and the Science Talent Search competition.

 

Well done to the following students who achieved Minor Bursaries for their Science Talent Search entries:

  • Sharannya Chakravorty for her Science Poster ‘How does AI assist species to survive and thrive?’
  • Pranit Praveen for his Invention of the ‘DYNO Phone Charger’ utilising the idea of a handheld USB charger for a phone, which will require a little further development.
  • Aditri Sinha for her Science Poster ‘How do indigenous cultural practices and beliefs influence species survival strategies?’

The following students were awarded a Distinction for their Science Talent Search entries:

  • Bilva Hemant and Gowri Arun for their Computer program and simulation, written in Python, called ‘Shark Attack’
  • Cico Cao for her Science Poster ‘How does AI assist species to survive and thrive?’
