Leadership News

Dear Families and Friends,

Welcome back! We hope you all enjoyed a restful break and a chance to recharge before the final term of the year. It’s been wonderful to see our students return with smiles, energy and a readiness to dive back into learning.

Term 4 is always a special one a celebration of all the growth, progress and achievements that have taken place throughout the year. As we settle back into our routines, classrooms are already humming with focus and enthusiasm.

It’s also shaping up to be a busy term, with plenty to look forward to! Please take a moment to check the Google Calendar for key dates and events including the Art Show, Italian Day swimming program, transition activities, and of course, the Christmas Carols evening to round out the year.

This week our Year 3 students hit the ground running with an unforgettable experience on their very first school camp the Roar and Snore program at the Melbourne Zoo. Highlights included seeing the majesticsnow leopard, the ever-curious red panda, and taking part in a magical night walk through the zoo after dark. While there wasn’t a lot of sleep, there was plenty of excitement, laughter, and wonderful memories made.

We are grateful to and thank Mrs McGrath, Sharon and Mrs Stroud for giving their time, care and energy to ensure the students had such a positive and memorable experience. Their support and enthusiasm helped make this first camp a huge success.

A gentle reminder that Term 4 is hat season. All students are required to wear their school hat when outdoors. We understand that with the change to summer uniform, some items may no longer fit quite as they did last term growth spurts over the holidays are not uncommon. Please don’t stress; just let us know if you’re waiting on replacements or need any support with uniform requirements.

We look forward to a wonderful Term 4 a time to celebrate learning, enjoy our community events, and make lasting memories as we bring another year at Sacred Heart to a close.
