Trivia Night - What a Great Night!
It was wonderful to see so many of our Drysdale Primary School families and friends come together for our Trivia Night. What a fantastic night it was!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, put together a table, donated prizes, organised games, helped with the food and drinks, or simply got involved and helped create such a great atmosphere. Nights like this don't just raise valuable funds for our school – they also help build the wonderful sense of community that makes Drysdale Primary such a special place.
A very special thank you goes to our Parents & Friends group and all the volunteers who put so much time and energy into making the night happen. These events take a lot of organisation behind the scenes, and we really appreciate the work that goes into them.
It was particularly pleasing to see parents, staff and friends mixing, having a laugh and enjoying each other's company. There was certainly plenty of competitive spirit around the tables, but it was the fun, connection and community that stood out most.
The success of the Trivia Night is another great example of what we can achieve when our school community comes together. The funds raised will go back into supporting our students and providing additional opportunities and resources across the school.
Thank you once again to everyone who contributed in any way. We are very fortunate to have such a generous and enthusiastic school community, and I am incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of our Parents & Friends, our families and our wider Drysdale community.
Well done everyone – and congratulations to our trivia winners!
We Want Our Parents/Carers To Tell Us What They Think!
Our school is conducting the annual Parent/Carer Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education and is seeking your feedback. The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behavior, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.
Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies.
The Parent/Carer Opinion Survey is open online from Monday 17 August to Friday 18 September 2026. All families are invited to participate in the survey
2027 Foundations Enrolments
If you have a child who is eligible to start Foundation (Prep) in 2027, including younger siblings, or you know of a family with a child ready to begin school next year, please note that enrolment applications were due by 31st July.
If you have not yet submitted your enrolment form, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible to assist us with planning for the 2027 school year.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Industrial Action
The proposed strike action for Wednesday 19th August will not go ahead with the AEU and the Department of Education both agreeing to a new pay deal for all school staff. Thank you to all our families for your support during the industrial campaign.
