Acting Principal's Report
Paul Hon
Assistant Principal - Jacob Johnson

Principal arrangements for term 3 2026.
Our school Principal, Julie Hommelhoff will remain on leave for term 3. Congratulations to our wonderful Assistant Principal, Jacob Johnson who has been appointed as acting Principal for next term. Jacob has held key leadership roles in two schools and has been a key driver of school improvement at Echuca Twin Rivers PS. He has led the recent social media promotion of the school and is a go to person for students, staff and parents. A process is under way to appoint an acting Assistant principal to replace Jacob next term.

School Reports
School reports are being completed and will be available on Sentral on Wednesday June 24th. The Department of Education advises that written comments will not be included for semester 1 reports this year. Student achievement and progress will continue to be communicated through progression point reporting and attitudes to learning aligned to our school values.

School Wide Positive behaviours. Gold Award.
At assembly on Wednesday our school was awarded a Gold Award by the Department of Education the high standard of achievement in our work around School Wide Positive Behaviours. The award had been given out to only a few schools in our region. Led by Hayley Logie, this is a tribute to the school’s work to develop and consistently hold our school values at the forefront of what we do at school and have clear and consistent expectations for students and staff around those values.

Internal Building Works
Further building works have taken place in the school to make our classrooms more conducive for learning. Doors have been installed across in learning spaces to ensure greater security and privacy for classrooms. These works, which includes larger sliding doors and painting, will continue during the term break.

Enrolments for 2027
A reminder that our enrolments for 2027 are now open. As we begin planning class structures and staffing for next year, it is incredibly helpful for families to enrol early. If you know of any families considering our school, please encourage them to get in touch.
We are always happy to arrange school tours and can accommodate visits at a time that suits prospective families.

End of Term Arrangements
A reminder to parents and carers that school will be dismissed at 1.30pm on the last day of term, Friday June 26th. There will be no town buses or Dyson bus running in the afternoon. Pearsons bus will be leaving at 2pm.
