Fire up the barbie! It's time for Stella Maris' Trivia night fundraiser!

Join us for a gourmet Aussie BBQ and a fun night of trivia, music and dancing! Family and friends of our Stella community are more than welcome to join in the fun too.

Term Reflection
Here we are at the end of Term 2 and halfway through another wonderful year. It has been another busy and successful term for the P&F, and we'd like to thank everyone who has supported our events and fundraising efforts.
Mother's Day Luncheon
Our first event for Term 2 was the Mother's Day Luncheon, organised by our wonderful Year 6 representatives – Cassandra Piacentini, Caroline Ricardo, Louisa Wright and Erica Carson.
It was a delightful afternoon held at the beautiful Black Rock Yacht Club, where members of our school community came together to celebrate Mother's Day while raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).
We were privileged to hear from our guest speaker Dezi, founder of Dezi Cooks, who shared her inspiring story. Our Year 6 representatives also organised an incredible raffle and a wonderful selection of door prizes, generously supported by local businesses.
Together, our school community raised $563.59 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. It was also lovely to have several staff members join us for the afternoon.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and supported this special event. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our Year 6 representatives for their hard work in coordinating such a successful afternoon, and to our generous local businesses for donating prizes.
Mother's Day Stall
Our next fundraising event for the term was our much-loved Mother's Day Stall.
A huge thank you to Simone Kerley, our Year 4 representative, for coordinating the beautiful selection of gifts, and to all the parents who generously volunteered their time to help on the day. We couldn't run these events without your support.
The gifts were thoughtfully chosen, and we hope all of our mums and special carers felt truly appreciated and loved. I know I did!
Stella Maris Feast Day Lunch
Our next event was a new addition to the P&F calendar as we came together to celebrate a very special milestone – 70 years of Stella Maris.
It was wonderful to see our school community gather to celebrate this significant occasion, with the P&F proudly providing a BBQ lunch for students, staff and families to enjoy.
A huge thank you to our Year 3 representatives, Sarah Nasr and Clara Vernengo, for coordinating the event. We would also like to thank all the parents who generously volunteered their time to help with the BBQ and ensure the day ran so smoothly.
It was a fantastic community event and a wonderful way to celebrate the rich history of our school while bringing everyone together.
Funky Hair, Socks & Donut Day
Our final event for the term was our much-loved Funky Hair, Socks & Donut Day, coordinated by our wonderful Year 5 representative, Katie Corr. This is always a highlight for our students, and it was fantastic to see everyone embracing the fun with colourful socks, creative hairstyles and plenty of school spirit.
A huge thank you to Katie for all her hard work in organising such a fun event. We'd also like to extend our sincere thanks to Swiss Bell Bakery for generously supplying the delicious donuts that everyone enjoyed.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a fun and memorable way to finish the term.
TERM 3 PLANS
But we're only just getting started! We have another exciting term ahead, kicking off with our major fundraiser – Trivia Night: Aussie Icons. Then we'll be bringing the fun back for the kids with the School Disco, followed by our Father's Day Stall and the ever-popular Father's Day Footy Match, before wrapping up the term with our annual Hot Dog & Footy Colours Day.
We'd love to see as many families as possible get involved. Whether you attend an event, volunteer your time or simply spread the word, every bit of support helps strengthen our wonderful school community.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our incredible P&F Committee. As it stands we have raised over $2500 for our school community on top of the funds raised for NBCF. Our committee's enthusiasm, creativity and countless volunteer hours are what make these events possible. Thank you for bringing the fun while raising valuable funds for our school. It is a privilege to work alongside such a dedicated team.
