Teaching and Learning

After successfully completing exams, Sandringham College hosted a Headstart program where all our Year 7-11 students began their 2025 academic year. Students attended their new classes with their new teachers across two weeks. Headstart is a rigorous transition program which provides our students with opportunities to develop connections with their new teachers and classmates. Teachers began to establish expectations along with introducing foundational skills which would be core to the teaching and learning of each of the subjects. Students engaged in a variety of activities and experienced a taster for what will be a massive 2025. Shown below are a few photos from Headstart.

Well done to all our students for embracing learning opportunities during Headstart. I was so proud to see all the wonderful work that was happening across our college and to witness our students continuing to demonstrate our core values.
