Term 2 Week 4

Another week of beautiful autumn weather, yard duty has been an absolute pleasure this week and we have had some great events to go along with it. Our Year 10 students are starting to think about their VCE pathways and all of the options that will be available to them next year, they were able to attend a session at the Wurun campus on Tuesday afternoon to learn about VET courses and how they can combine them with the VCE or VCE VM certificate. This really marks the beginning of our transition process as students prepare to move to the senior campus.
This week we also had our top athletes attend the regional athletics meet on Monday and our top talkers compete in the Ainger Peck public speaking contest on Monday night. Congratulations to everyone who was involved in these events.
Our school production rehearsals are underway, keep an eye out for more information about 'Unicorn Girl' in Term 3.
For the staff this week we had the first meeting of our curriculum review working group, with a group of interested staff looking to see how we can better deliver the curriculum to meet the needs of our students. We are hoping to be able to share this work with families by the end of the term.
