National Walk Safely to School Day 2026 is on Friday, 22 May, with primary schools across Australia encouraging kids to walk, scoot, or ride to school. The 27th annual event highlights physical, safety, and environmental benefits, encouraging parents to park further away and walk to boost focus and health.

- Goal: Promote healthy habits, road safety, and reduced car usage around schools
Safety Advice: Children under 10 must hold an adult’s hand while crossing the road, and everyone is encouraged to stay alert and avoid devices

Every year, the Preps and Year 6s take part in a great activity to help them remember their
first or final year at Primary School by creating an individual artwork and have it turned into a beautiful memento plate keepsake.
This will be done at school and will be completed by Friday, 29 th May.
