Family Movie Night

Last Friday night we held our outdoor movie night under the stars. It was a full house. We were so fortunate to have great weather which made it a comfortable night on the assembly court. Thank you to the team of parents that worked on pulling this together in preparation and for all the work on the night. As I consistently say, we can’t run events like this without the wonderful support that we receive from families to make things happen. So, thank you once again for the fab night!

Year 5 Camp

On Wednesday morning our year 5 students and teachers departed for their camp to Forest Edge. We had our fingers crossed for them as the weather forecast was for rain with more rain! They have been lucky enough at this stage to sleep through much of the rain and then be able to enjoys day activities. We look forward to welcoming them back later today and to hear about their adventures.

Maths Morning

Following the success of our 2025 Whole School Maths Day, we are excited to be holding another event on Wednesday 20 May, as part of Education Week.

We warmly invite parents and families to join us for the morning’s activities:

9:00am – 9:50am: Open Classroom – families are invited to join classroom maths activities

9:50am – 10:40am: Whole School Maths Parade

This special day will be filled with engaging maths activities and opportunities for you to visit your child’s classroom and see their learning in action. Our students are looking forward to sharing their love of mathematics with you!

As part of the celebration, we will also be holding a Maths Morning Parade at 9:50am, and families are warmly invited to attend. Students are encouraged to come dressed in a maths-themed costume.

Some costume ideas include:

• Dressing as a number or shape

• Wearing patterns or symmetry in your outfit

• Creating a domino-themed T-shirt

• Coming as a famous mathematician

• Designing a costume that represents addition, multiplication, or other mathematical operations

We can’t wait to celebrate the joy of mathematics together and hope to see you there!

Wishing you a great weekend and some drier weather than the past few days!
