Semester 1 Reports
All parents are now able to access their child's reports on PAM. Please take the time to read through the reports and enjoy the growth of your child.
If you have any questions, please write them down and bring them to the Learning Conversations that will be held, next week, in Week 3 Term 3.
Learning Conversations
Next week (Mon 27 - Wed 29 July), we will hold our Learning Conversations — another great opportunity to connect with your child and their teacher about learning and progress. Bookings will close tomorrow, Friday 24 July, @ 10am. Please see the flyer below for booking details.
St Therese's Kennington Parish - World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly
On Sunday, 26 July 2026, the Church celebrates the World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly, a special occasion established by Pope Francis to honour the wisdom, love, faith, and lifelong contributions of grandparents and older people.
We warmly invite our school families, especially grandparents, to join our parish community at St Therese's Church for Mass as we celebrate this special day:
Saturday Vigil Mass: 6.00pm
Sunday Mass: 10.30am
Book Week 2026
This year, Book Week will be celebrated at St Francis during week 6 of term 3:
Monday 17 - Friday 21 August
Our Book Week parade day will be on:
Friday 21st August.
As usual, we look forward to seeing your children dressed up as their favourite characters! The theme is "Symphony of Stories".
The Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the school library during week 6 & week 7 (dates to be confirmed).
Parents & Friends Meeting
Our next P & F meeting will be held on Thursday 20 August at 7.30pm in our staff room.
All parents are most welcome to attend.
Scholastic Book Club
Welcome back to Term 3.
Issue #5 Book Club catalogue has been sent home with your children this week. All orders are to be completed online, using the LOOP ordering system, by Wednesday 29th July.
Term 3 Pupil Free Day
St. Francis of the Fields Primary School will be closed on the following date in Term 3:
Wednesday 5 August - Staff Spirituality Day
YMCA are offering a wonderful program for the pupil free day. Families who require care for their child/ren, are asked to make their booking promptly. Please see the flyer below for details.
Shed Unavailability
The shed will be unavailable for training use on the following dates in Term 2 & 3:
- Tuesday 4 August (afterschool) - Set up for Staff Spirituality Day
- Wednesday 5 August (all day and afterschool) - Staff Spirituality Day
- Thursday 13 August (after school) - Set up for Assumption Mass on Friday 14 August
- Thursday 3 September (after school) - Set up for Father's Day Mass on Friday 4 September
- Thursday 10 September (after school) - School Disco
Assembly
3D & 3BH will lead our next school assembly on Friday 31 July from 2.45pm in the Shed. All parents, grandparents and guardians are most welcome to attend.
