Cyber safety learning 3-6
This term students in years 3-6 will engage in workshops with Susan McLean about cyber safety on 4th December, this is the same day Susan is running the parent information session.
The learning focus in Years 3 to 6 is identifying ways to be safe online, conversations about using age-appropriate sites/games/apps, keeping personal information private, having an awareness of ‘digital footprint’ and seeking help from a trusted adult.
Susan’s fun and interactive session requires students to complete a comprehensive workbook which records and reinforces the learning outcomes. The book is signed by the student in class then taken home & signed by a parent/guardian to acknowledge and reinforce the learning.
