School Sports - What's Happening

HEALTH & PE WEEK - WEEK 10 (December 8th to December 12th)
In Week 10, starting on Monday 8th of December, we will have our Health and PE Week. Students are encouraged to wear their sports uniform each day and will be able to participate in extra PE and Health activities throughout the week.
Activities will include:
- Whole School Health Day (Wednesday) - Rotations throughout the day focusing on Health and PE.
- Christmas Lunch (Thursday) - the whole school will come together for lunch on the oval and listen to Christmas carols. Students are invited to wear a Santa hat during lunch, along with their usual sports uniform.
- Lunchtime Activities - a range of activities including just dance, parachute play, bat tennis and poison ball.
- Colour Run (Friday) - obstacle course, sprinklers, sliming the teachers and loads of fun.
- Staff v Grade 6 Match (Friday) - the final game this year will be a hockey match up on the courts.
We will send out the schedule of activities to teachers to share with their class. Thank you to our wonderful grade 6 leaders who help organise and run these events. It is a great way to finish a very busy year.
ESSENDON AFL PLAYERS VISIT - WEEK 10
We look forward to welcoming some of the Essendon AFL players to Holy Rosary on Thursday 11th December (Week 10). Students in grades 3 -6 will get the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about the players from 10:30-11am. Then the players will be on the oval for the first 15 minutes of play time to have kick to kick and chat to students from all grades. Students are welcome to bring in Essendon items to be signed.
