Value of the Term - Responsibility

Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club continues to run every Monday and Thursday from 8.30 am to 8.55am. We are so grateful to Foodbank Vic for providing food items for our students to enjoy.

Gratitude
Gratitude involves recognising and expressing appreciation for the people, places and things in our lives. Practising gratitude allows us to pay attention to what we have, increasing feelings of happiness and leading to a more positive outlook on life.

Use this GEM chat card below, the help your child practise gratitude.

Why See a Paediatrician?
A paediatrician helps track your child’s growth, development, and overall health. Regular visits ensure early detection of any concerns, up-to-date vaccinations, and guidance on nutrition, sleep, and behaviour—supporting your child’s wellbeing from infancy through adolescence.

Wellbeing Focus: Consent and Body Safety.
As part of our wellbeing lessons, students in Grade 3-6 have been learning about consent, body safety and respectful relationships. These important lessons help children understand that everyone has the right to feel safe, comfortable and respected.
Students are exploring what consent means, how to ask for permission, how to say no or change their mind, and how to respectfully respond when someone says no. We are also discussing personal boundaries, respecting other people's space and recognising that everyone has the right to make choices about their own body.
Families can support this learning at home by encouraging open, age-appropriate conversations, reminding children that their body belongs to them, and helping them identify trusted adults they can talk to if something makes them feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
