Reconciliation
Thank you to all the parents who were able to attend last nights Reconciliation meeting. Could I please have all enrolment forms returned to school by Friday of this week. If you know anyone who has a child not attending Sacred Heart who would like to make their Reconciliation, please ask them to get in touch with me ASAP.
We ask the whole school community to keep the Year 3 candidates in their prayers as the children prepare to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation on September 4th .
There will be two Children’s Masses this term, Sunday 18/8 at 9am and Saturday 24/8 at 5pm. All children and families are encouraged to join our candidates at these masses.
Behold I Make All things New.
Every year Catholic Education Sandhurst (CES) hold the Mary Mackillop Art Competition. One of the categories is to produce an artwork based on our 2024 theme from the Book of Revelation “Behold I Make All Things New.” In a cross curriculum activity I have been visiting all year levels exploring this phrase from the bible and how it connects to our lives. The children with the expertise of Mrs Whiteley will produce a piece of art, over the next few weeks in their art lesson. The best pieces of work will be entered into the Art competition.
Have a great week,
